RDP — MK COACHING

The same script, with different people

This page is for single people who notice a repetition across their past relationships.

The situation, named precisely

You are single, and you notice that your relationships often follow a similar script — the same tensions, the same breaking points, with people who are nonetheless different.

This observation comes up often enough that it no longer looks like a coincidence, even though it is not easy to pin down exactly what is repeating.

What is actually going on

A pattern that repeats from one relationship to the next often reflects an internal dynamic more stable than the people involved.

It can involve an attachment profile that shapes, often without awareness, the choice of partners or how one reacts to closeness (attachment security), emotional regulation that makes certain tensions hard to move through without a break (emotional regulation), or risk patterns that recur from one relationship to the next (risk patterns).

What an instrument like the RDP can and cannot do here

Faced with a recurring pattern, the RDP is not meant to explain the past relationship by relationship.

It can map the 9 dimensions of the relational profile, make the gap between self-perception and the psychometric measure explicit, and offer a roadmap of priorities.

It cannot decide for you, make a diagnosis, or predict the future of a relationship. Its doctrine is explicit: "do what YOU judge healthiest for you, those around you, and your future."

When to consult a professional rather than a questionnaire

In the face of acute distress, a situation of violence, or dark thoughts, a human professional always comes before a questionnaire — however precise it may be. In that case, the right move is to contact that help right away.

In France: 3114 for suicide prevention, 3919 for domestic violence support. Outside France, local emergency services should be contacted.

The RDP applies a safety-first doctrine: in the presence of signals of acute distress, the instrument suspends any commercial offer and directs the person toward these human resources. Faced with doubt, the instrument steps back for the human.
